- Knit 1 normally
- Purl 1 with Eastern wrap
By the end of the row, all purls will be Eastern mount
Start 1x1 ribbing
- Knit normally
- Purl the leading leg with Eastern wrap, aka purl from the backloop with the “wrong” wrap
This cancelled out the effect of twisted stitch and results an a normal, untwisted 1x1 ribbing.
